Reclaiming a dead red oak tree at Eagle Lake for a bench using only a chainsaw

We had this dead standing red oak tree sitting in our new backyard when we moved in. Rather than waiting for it to fall we used the chainsaw and my trucks wench to safely fell it where we wanted. Then I ripped the log with my chainsaw and used a couple of the rounds from it as feet for a simple bench. I’ll probably sand it and throw some clear coat on it to extends its life.
