This is a rabbit bandicoot (Bilby) Macrotis lagotis - and it seems that he did not like us ...
No wonder, because these endemics of Australia are endangered because of their beautiful valuable fur and tails, with which the natives like to adorn themselves.
In addition, the number of bandicoot was affected by the fight against rabbits (traps and poisoned baits). The weak point of these animals is the low birth rate: only 1-2 bandicoots in a brood.
