Bar Defying Vaccine Mandates Joined by Members of Congress | “I Just Know I’m Doing the Right Thing”

Ever since D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser mandated that bars and restaurants must require patrons to show proof of vaccination, Big Board owner Eric Flannery has promised to resist the order—tweeting out “everyone is welcome.”

On the same night the D.C. government posted a closure notice sign on Big Board’s front doors, members of congress walked in. Here’s why they’re showing support for this restaurant going rogue in the district.
