Ottawa police are hinting that armed forces are needed to stop truckers.

"We are not as confident as we used to be that only the police will be able to resolve this situation," says Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloley.

"Do you mean politics, do you mean the military?" a member of the city council asked him to clarify.

"I think you just listed them," Sloli replied.
