World War II Military post on Sardinia Weast coast

In this clip, as I promised in my previous videos, I finally show you a huge piece of the World War II history.

This is supposed to be a World War II military post, situated at the extreme of the Sardinia weast coast, which is full of structures of that war, which I'll show you in my next videos.

There's a debate about it, where some people say that this post is not a military one, but it is a kind of a platform for fishermen, even if there isn't any kind of explanation which support that hypothesis.

On the other hand, the presence of plenty of bunker and military posts of the World War II along the coast, taking into account the conformity of this platform, lead many people to think that this was a kind of surveillance platform used in the 40s by the Italian army.

What strengthen this hypothesis too, is that at some nautical miles from here, on the 9th September of 1943 an Italian army's ship, the Corazzata Roma, was bombed by a german army plane causing the sinking of the ship and the death of 1393 soldiers and civilians.

The ship wrecks are still on the bottom of the sea over 1200 meters depths.

The view of the coast, especially of the sea from this point is amazing. You can admire the left side and right side of the coast, and its arch shape, not to mention the stunning blue of the sea.

I walked also all over the platform to show you it entirely and from multiple angles.

It's something really amazing, and I even recorded part two that I'll post in the next video.
