Curing Addiction and Treating Withdrawal with Psychedelics

I have dealt with addiction most of my life as a consequence of chronic health issues. I have also kicked opiates without help every time I chose to. People with chronic pain face a difficult choice in this area; to be active and content and addicted, or suffer. Once you have created a physical addiction, whether because of physical or emotional trauma, escape is difficult. Acute withdrawal is excruciating, there is no sleep for up to a week, and so it is unrelenting. But there is help, and there is hope. And you don't need suboxone, methadone, or even rehab, in many case.
Psychedelics are useful for every stage of withdrawal. They are often the catalyst that compels a person to seek healing. They can rewire the brain so that there it is as if the addiction never existed. They can provide support during post-acute withdrawal, helping to alleviate depression, manage pain, and to maintain a sense of connection with something greater. This is supported not only by my personal experience, but also science. There are hundreds of recent studies on everything from ibogaine to ayahuasca, and LSD to ketamine, that establish psychedelics as the absolute most effective treatment for addiction.
I will share techniques that I used to quit smoking using LSD, and everything that I have learned form both research and experience over the years. Perhaps the most valuable insight will come from when I recently found myself physically addicted to Tramadol and discovered some tricks that could make the difference between success and failure for most people trying to survive withdrawal..
