The systems where individuality is lost have historically led to tyrannical situations. However, over time, Nature inevitably fixes this with a resurgence of reclaiming the Individual. This newly created wealth leads back again to more dark times. You know the saying, “good times leads to weak men”?

Tony points out the historical ebb and flow patterns that have been easy for historians to identify, yet our current downward spiral today is unprecedented due to technology and cybernetics.

When do we reach our breaking point? Tony argues that unlike in the past, in this modern dark age people aren’t going to lose their basic needs. How well is this Panopticon mapped out? Tony references the book “The Human Use of Human Beings” by Norbert Weiner to recap the definition of cybernetics and his foreseeing of how both blue and white collar jobs will be made obsolete by machines. Tony ties in the eugenics aspect on top of Man’s attempt to gain control of the environment via cybernetics, the pursuit of “utopia”, and the weaponizing of religion.
