NEW RECORD - 477 MILE LIGHTNING BOLT IS THE WORLD'S LONGEST MEGA FLASH

A 477.2 mile long lightning flash is now the world's longest by length bolt of lightning. So long that it is a mega flash. Another record is for the longest visible lightning flash, which was 17.1 seconds. This is some interesting things about these two historic bolts.
