How I Control “Bathroom” #Odor | #Ostomy Tips | Make Your Own & Low Cost Air Freshener

We all “go to the bathroom” but as ostomates, we have a super power over our friends with colons: Pouch deodorants!

For in-pouch, my favorite Brava Lubricant & Deodorant (bottle and sample size sachets) has been my “go-to” but I know there are others out there. Available at many medical supply outlets & ostomy supply distributors as well as Amazon.

Then for “outside the pouch”, I shopped at Home Depot & Dollar Tree to being you a neat little “make-it-yourself” air freshener idea (courtesy of my husband) as well my all time fav “Hex On” spray that was first given to me in the hospital after I was found to have “c.diff”.

What are your favs for in and out of the pouch deodorants/air fresheners? Do you even need any? I’ve spoken (online) to one fortunate soul who told me she never has odor from inside her pouch (wow!) I don’t know what that’s like LOL!
