9/11 20th Anniversary Tribute

Good morning. 20 years ago, a horrible tragedy occurred in the United States that shook us to the very core. Terrorists of the group Al-Qaeda hijacked four planes in an attack. Two of them flew into the twin towers, knocking them down. A third was flown into the Pentagon. Passengers on the fourth plane teamed up and heroically fought off the attackers, but crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The death of 3,000 of our fellow Americans was a dark spot in our country’s history. For weeks, many Americans were glued to our televisions as security was ramped up for fear of another attack. But from this tragedy, this great nation united together in a way not seen in history. Sit back and reflect as we pay respects to those who lost their lives on that tragic day.
