The Town of Allopath HD

The Town of Allopath HD gives an analogy to the current situation where you go to your doctor to get medication for a condition. Another one they push are "maintenance drugs". You know...for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes...those types. They never teach you EVERYTHING you need to know to get those things in check. Then they'd lose a customer.

I had a doc try to get me to take one once. My cholesterol was SLIGHTLY high, for the first time in my life. When he suggested his drugs, I asked him, "doctor, if you're driving down the road & your oil light comes on, do you actually stop & put oil in the car? Or do you just snip the wires to make the light go out?" My doc got super pissed and did not know what to say.
