Caught On Camera - Ice Storm Blows Transformer

Power Crews were working on a power outage in a large Lexington neighborhood during Thursday nights Ice Storm when a second Transformer blew. A huge flash and loud boom was captured on camera as Power crews were working. Videographer, Scott Moore was preparing for interview but left his dash cam rolling. Ice accumulated on trees and lines causing the transformer to blow. Crews worked in sleet & freezing rain to restore power. Anthony Trotter lost power in his home while doing homework. He witness both Power flashes and talks about what he saw. Great SOT! Shots of Explosion, Sleet and utility crews.
