Groundhog Lap Book

Since Groundhog Day was earlier this week, I decided my daughter and I would do a Groundhog Day Lap Book. We learned different names of the creature, about the seasonal behavior of them, hibernation, shadows. We learned about the history of the holiday in both the US and Canada. It was a fun litte project. Most of the activities came from the Homeschool Helper website. I totally recommend her as a resource! I did omit a couple of her suggested activities and included a poem I found online. My daughter memorized the poem.
