NYC POV: Post-Arrest Interview with Mandate Protester: "I'm Caught Between a Rock and a Hard Place"

On February 3, 2022, President Biden came to New York City to meet with Mayor Eric Adams. Protesters waited for Biden's departing motorcade across from One Police Plaza, the headquarters of the New York City Police Department.

This protester was arrested for trespassing on public housing grounds, after trying to burn an upside down American flag in protest against vaccine mandates as Biden's motorcade passed.

We waited for him to be released from the 7th Precinct in Manhattan to get this interview. He talked to us about the far-reaching impact of losing his job for refusing to take a COVID-19 vaccine after decades in the New York City workforce.
