Having A Single Eye On Christ by John Wesley

Many years ago, I ran into this powerful message from John Wesley. It had a powerful impact on my life. Being double-minded is one of the major problems in most believer's life in our generation. I printed this sermon and gave it to our congregation. One of the ladies came to me very confused. She said to me: Pastor Mike, this sermon has no Scriptures. What she did not realize is that she showed her total ignorance of the word of God. The sermon was full of nothing but Scriptures. When John Wesley preached, he did not give you in most cases where this scripture was located; he simply quoted Scriptures. Most likely, this sermon needs to be more modernized because most English-speaking people have been dumbed down. They can't grasp the intricacies and the massive word use of those in the 1700s.
