Woodstock is a stunning composition by Joni Mitchell...this is a song that is as Accurate and Important today as it was as an anthem for a generation back in the late Sixties, early Seventies...Joni Mitchell clearly inner stood what Mankind was up against (The Devil), and therefore, Intuitively Knew what the Solution was as well (Father, Mother and Child)...

Double and triple booked by her Manager, so that she could NOT attend Woodstock, Joni sat back in abject horror as this Culture changing event played itself out at Max Yasgur's Farm...so agitated by her inability to attend what was happening, she appeared Live on the Dick Cavett Show, that weekend, to speak about what was happening, only to have Artists and Groups that actually performed at Woodstock arrive, and "takeover" the show...thus, Joni, observed, listened, accumulated all that she could take in, and the result is this incredible anomaly, a song that defines that Moment in time, PERFECTLY, written by a Wombman who wasn't even at the event...

This is the Genius of Joni Mitchell, and the Clarity of her Mind to see the HEART of what was taking place in that moment in time...a battle between Good and Evil, where Good was finally ABEL to surge ahead of Evil, and inspire Millions Earth-wide to have HOPE that Change was not only possible, that it was indeed, INEVITABLE...
