Do THIS After Upgrading to Windows 11 (Get Drive Space Back) 👍

After you upgrade to Windows 11 you'll notice you have less hard drive space. This is because of the Windows.old folder that contains the previous installation of Windows.

But luckily, you can easily get rid of the Windows.old folder by using Disk Cleanup.

*Be aware that you should not delete the Windows.old folder until you are certain that Windows 11 is working properly. After deleting the folder, you will not be able to restore your system back to Windows 10 in case of a problem. This is not an issue for most people, just be aware.

After getting rid of the Windows.old folder, you will reclaim around 20-30GBs of drive space.
