Chris K 1989 Mustang 5.0

Cherry '89 Mustang went home today. Came in running poorly. Had owner installed modifications (cold air intake, intake manifold and throttle body) that weren't playing nice together and the OEM computer wouldn't cooperate with the mods. Replaced the computer with Holley Terminator and integrated the OEM gauges and air conditioning controls. She had major oil leaks at the oil pan. We replaced the oil pan gasket. She's much happier now. Did a custom dyno tune. Made 210whp. From the factory the 302/5.0 was rated at 225 crank hp, which might have made 190whp on a good day. Mild numbers by today's standards, but it's light and fun. Plans for more upgrades in the future are more aggressive rear gears, cam and boost.
