You can now sign up to Beta test Mortal Rite, a new third-person action RPG with roguelite elements, where you fight your way up an ancient tower to join a guild of immortal warriors.

Playable in single-player and co-op with up to five players, in Mortal Rite you take on the role of an initiate who must complete the Blood Spirit’s trials to earn their place within an ancient guild of immortal warriors. The game features a skill-based melee-focussed combat system, a roster of uniquely skilled fighters to choose from and an upgrade system that depends on the routes you take through the tower.

Even in these early stages of development it’s a beautiful looking game and the combat feels fast and fluid, while still being tactical and Suilsian. Being able to take some friends along for the ride is a bonus too. Sign up for the Beta to see if you can conquer the tower.
