GoFundMe Backtracks and Says They Will Automatically Refund Donations to Freedom Convoy Donors

GoFundMe decided to label the Freedom Convoy as an insurrection and thereby suspended their donations page. Initially they said that donors would have to submit a form by February 19th to receive their refunds or have them redistributed to so-called reputable charities. However, after Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis stated he would have them investigated, GoFundMe has stated that they will simplify the process and automatically refund all of the $9 million worth of donations which were made to the Freedom Convoy. GoFundMe has shown themselves to be duplicitous and they have been arbitrary in their application of their own Terms of Service (TOS).
