Emmanuel Macron says his objective 'was to freeze the game'

French President Emmanuel Macron is in Kyiv for talks with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, seeking a breakthrough in the East-West deadlock over Ukraine. Macron said that "My aim was to freeze the game, to prevent an escalation and open up new perspectives, this objective for me is fulfilled."
