Tossing Pebbles - Rearranging the Cosmos

Steve, Dan, Greg, Grant, Michelle, and Sarah Normal Legs joined us this week for a day of adventure. We visited Farragut State Park in North Idaho, skipped stones across Lake Pend Oreille, and rearranged the makeup of the cosmos.

We looked for throwing rocks, pretty pebbles and shiny stones, to throw across the water, to arrange in zones, in the geometry of chance. We kept in perpetuation fallen stars, gathered up fragments of lost space, where they had scattered afar, and gave them a pertinent place, across memory, across Spacetime.

Cosmic dust is what we are,
Remnants of an ancient star,
Drifted to a distant shore,
To dance a while in sunlight,
Then slip away into the night,
Back into the black hole once more.
