There were 10 killings from the years 1988 to 2002 that were all believed to have been done by a single person. There was no concrete evidence until later DNA testing was done. A 14-year break between the crimes earned the serial killer the nickname of the "Grim Sleeper" by the police. On July 7, 2010, Franklin was arrested. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office charged him with 10 counts of murder. This is his interrogation with the police.
