Acts 7:5-7

God made a promise to Abraham and kept his promise in his time and his way. Jesus made a promise to his disciples that he would come back to take them to where he is going where his Father is. God always keeps his promises. We can have faith in his promise we just have to do is in believe in Jesus is God, he died, and rose from the dead.
