SE17-01 "Superman & Lois" Season 2 Goes Woke? (w/ Excerpts from "Is the CW Changing?)

ARCHIVAL NOTE: This "sub-episode" of “Who Cares What I Think!?” uploaded to YouTube, January 5, 2022, contains two clips from WCWIT Ep. 17 "Is the CW Changing?" These clips, which touch upon The CW's "Superman & Lois" were part of a wider discussion regarding the failing fifth network's sudden pivot towards trying to appeal to a more "normal," mainstream audience that isn't insane, foaming at the mouth, and screaming at the sky for no discernable reason. Apparently, that wild-eyed woke Twitter mob (who don't even watch broadcast television) was no longer cutting it for The CW--and suddenly, out of nowhere, we were getting a (not terrible) reboot of The Waltons and genuinely watchable first season of "Superman & Lois." And yet, try as they might, The CW can't help but CW. They can't stand a win. Just as I was complimenting the pivot towards rationality, a trailer for "Superman & Lois," Season Two dropped, featuring Supes bashing America. (So much for Truth, Justice, and the American Way.) And within 24-48 hours after I dropped THIS video (which, at the time, became the second-most viewed video ever on my tiny YT channel), it was announced The CW was for sale. You can’t make this stuff up.

I spoke too soon! Just as I was praising The CW for pivoting away from fringe woke politics with new shows such as "The Waltons" and "Superman & Lois," the trailer for "Superman & Lois," Season Two, drops and blows that out of the water with a woke Supes doing a little Twitter-friendly America bashing. Is The CW about to blow what little progress they had made in trying to appeal to normal, mainstream audiences?
