Meet Estelle - Our bird with special needs

Not everyone has a chicken living in their extra bedroom... but we do. Meet Estelle, our nub-wing, deformed footed handicapped silkie. We decided to go to extreme measures to keep her alive this Winter. We are hoping to re-introduce her to the flock once she recovers in the Spring. Fingers crossed.
