MZTV 766 - 08/06/2021: Apply Hebrews to Yourself at Your Own Risk!

"Being, then, justified by faith, we may be having peace toward God, through our Lord, Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:1).

"For at our sinning voluntarily after obtaining the recognition of the truth, it is no longer leaving a sacrifice concerned with sins, but a certain fearful waiting for judging and fiery jealousy, about to be eating the hostile" (Hebrews 10:26-27).

Do these two sayings belong to the same gospel? Some people think so.
(Those attempting to explain it—and there have been a few brave souls over the years—end up in the hospital with exhaustion. Thankfully, Hallmark has a card for such individuals. On the front of the card it says, "We hear you were trying to reconcile Paul's gospel with the gospel to Israel..." When you open the card, it says, "...we are praying for your speedy recovery.")
