No-Knock Warrants should be heavily restricted

No-Knock warrants should be heavily restricted to protect tragedies like the Amir Loke shooting by police officers from happening. For years, there has been a shift of risk from law enforcement onto the private citizens.

While it is understandable that steps need to be taken to help keep police officers safe but qualified immunity and no-knock warrants have been used to shift risk from the police onto private citizens.

The burden should be on the state, not on the general public. Our entire legal philosophy is based on the state having the burden of proof, not the citizen.
