We're off to Nawlins with today's Segue City Special with a mixture of Redbone and the Rolling Stones. Depending on who you talk to, these songs have either aged well like fine wine or are the cause for wanting someone's head on a stick... your call. Music is music and when it comes to things that happen in the "Big Easy," it's like Las Vegas... what happens there stays there. Or so they say...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

The feature will be available for integration into other AIR Classic Rock terrestrial stations in the future as well. It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
