"The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2" / "Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 2" has released a new key visual and trailer for the upcoming second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero, which features new characters, plotlines, and development. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 was originally scheduled for October 2021, but was pushed back to this year for "various reasons". Kinema Citrus will collaborate with South Korean animation studio DR Movie on the animation of the second season. The anime will premiere on April 22, 2022!
