The Allie's Favorite was one of those flies Carrie Stevens tied and named after a Friend. In this case it was Alfred "Allie" French. It was never tied or marketed by Carrie so it is not as well know. It is tied in the classic "style" of Carrie Stevens and it is a fun fly to tie.
