Sims 1: Adopting a Baby

The Sims 1 has a very shady adoption agency that just randomly calls Sims about adopting a baby. However, if your Sims want to take the risk, they can click "yes" and adopt a baby. Sim couples, either same-sex or opposite sex, have the best chance of getting this phone call.

Of course, the interactions are the same, and the outcomes are the same as your Sims conceiving a baby. After 3 Sim-days, the baby will develop into a child. If your Sims fail to take care of their baby, Sylvia the Social Worker will strip them of custody.
