Junk Yard Wreck Dive, Artificial Reef in the Abacos Bahamas

In the Bahamas, and I am sure in other places in the world, folks will dispose of various metal objects, including cars, trucks, golf carts, etc in strategic locations to create artificial reefs. As these things slowly get consumed by nature, it incourages natural growth and coral eventually forms, after many years it will be unrecognizable as artificial, and will actualy become a reef. A brand new habitat for marine life! We have seen this with the construction of lobster habitats which have exponentially increased the population of lobster.
