Stealin' The Mystery Tour

It's Monday so we start with a segue that includes Ken Hensley (an original member of Uriah Heep) reprising the group's hit song, "Stealin'" with Ken wailing away on a Hammond B3 and singing lead. Then we follow that with Cheap Trick taking the Beatles on sort of a Tragical History Tour of their song. And that's how we face Monday morning. Hey, the Bulldogs are now 10 and 0 so HBDD!

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

The feature will be available for integration into other AIR Classic Rock terrestrial stations in the future as well. It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
