Nothing Stopping No One No Way

The Mayor was quick to point out that we hadn't done any Tower of Power lately in any Segue City Special so we went back to the original TOP version of "Ain't Nothing Stopping Us Now" and paired it with the big hit that McFadden and Whitehead had in the Seventies and just like that we had this segue knocked right now.... sorta like TOP's "Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock Yourself Out," or something like that.

It's a good way to end the week but now the Mayor is making noises about wanting to have a segue for tomorrow and one on Sunday too. He seems to have forgot this is a union job. Perhaps he can come in and do the weekend segues he wants. If we don't answer our phones he'll just have to leave a message and that's how telephone tag gets started.

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
