Show and Tell Me The Way

The word "show" is the premise of today's Segue City Special with Styx's "Show Me The Way" into Al Wilson's "Show and Tell" which pretty much sums up where things are all over the world today even with all of the social media in a gazillion ways. You can have 2,000 "friends" on Facebook and yet no real friends at all. It becomes illusory and perhaps everything really is a dream inside a dream on top of another dream.

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

The feature will be available for integration into other AIR Classic Rock terrestrial stations in the future as well. It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
