The Secret Teachings of Aleister Crowley, pt 1

Aleister Crowley; mountaineer, mystic, magician, yogi, scoundrel, drug addict, mad genius...the perfect prophet of the New Aeon. Truly an Ipsissimus (Ipsissimus is the highest of the high, ranking above all others, and perhaps even beyond their comprehension. It is fully realized Divinity encased in a meat suit) The importance of his work is often occulted by his penchant for controversy, and his determination to live up to his title of "The Wickedest Man in the World." Those that aren't deterred by his horns will be richly rewarded. He was perhaps the greatest of spiritual teacher; without question the most honest. His literary pyrotechnics scorched the page, his communique as dazzling as it was direct. He introduced yoga to the West. He pioneered the use of psychedelics. He was openly bisexual at a time when it was still a criminal offense. He probed the depths of the Abyss, and left in his wake waves of a New Consciousness, the reverberations of which are just beginning to be felt, much less understood. His invisible influence has affected the lives of each and every person living today, whether they know his name or not.
In this video I strove to condense the essence of Crowley's message, and I would venture to reckon that I succeeded to some degree. I also included a brief excerpt from a 1910 recording of Crowley speaking "Enochian," an angelic language that was "received" by John Dee and Edward Kelley in the 16th century. It has been studied by linguists and was found to have its own grammar and syntax, a feat that Dee and Kelley likely could not have achieved. It is said that if one doesn't believe in magick, all one must do is master an Enochian Call, and you will find out. Be warned; it is also said that this is almost invariably met with disaster.
