Preparing to Tap Our Walnut Trees

When I am getting oh so anxious to start my seeds, it is great to have such a wonderful distraction! Most people know Maple syrup comes from the sap pf maple trees, but most are unfamiliar with the fact that there are a lot of other trees that can be tapped for the same purpose. Our favorite is the Black Walnut....so it is very fortunate we have so many!

In this video series, we will take you through the process from the basic supplies and prep work, to tapping and collecting the sap and the final step of boiling it down to that sweet, sweet treat, Black Walnut Syrup 😋
