FFXIV Endwalker MSQ 27-No Good Deed and Alea Iacta Est

The first cutscene is at 4:28. It is a good one. And of course who always shows up when our character is in need. I think indulging the Garleans is the last thing our characters want especially when it comes to the twins.
12:44: Alea Iacta Est begins. The die is cast. Meaning events have past a point of no return. This seems to be in reference to Julius Ceasar, when crossing the Rubicon and thus starting civil war that effectively ended the Roman republic.
15:58 The cutscene begins, the writers definitely want us to feel sorry for Jullus. To sympathize with him. He may have a sad story but that does not absolve one from their poor choices.
Basically these two quests are a lot of cutscene and story. A very dark story. I love the twins and their optimism. As naive as it is, at least they temper it with practicality and who could begrudge them their hopes and dreams. My opinions on Quintus' actions are not kind so I will refrain from comment.
