Application of Thermal Optics

This video contains real images of combat. It could be disturbing for some viewers. Though in a world of Call of Duty, I doubt it.

The images are gathered from around the interwebs and show various armed conflicts. This compilation is made expressly to show the value/capabilities of thermal optics, even commercial grade hunting optics, in today's world.

The information provided to introduce each video is based on the sources that I acquired the videos from. I have no sure way to check its authenticity. My commentary is based on experience using similar optics.

The take home message is that, with modern technology, it is very difficult to “own the night.” Bear in mind that first world militaries and police have capabilities far beyond what is shown in these videos, which is basic hunting equipment in the US.
