The 30-Year-Old Trapped In A Toddler's Body | BORN DIFFERENT

MAYA stopped growing when she was just three years old. Measuring just 87cm tall and weighing 17kg, Maya could easily be mistaken for a toddler but she is in fact 30 years old. Due to her condition, she is unable to walk or talk and relies on the support and care of her family. Maya’s sister, Novianti told Truly: “She looks like a toddler.” Maya’s mum, Aisyah, didn’t experience any issues during pregnancy and the family said she was born without any complications. Novianti explained: “She stopped growing when she was three years old and then after that time, she never grew up.” Maya’s family believe Allah made her this way and will continue to look after her. Novianti said: “We take care of her very well and we protect her. I love her, the entire family loves her.”
