If you live in the US, you already know who likes to talk about freedom and liberty the most. In the national contest over who gets to represent what values, the Republican party, and conservatives in general, have monopolized the idea that their politics are the politics of freedom. Unfortunately for the right, that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
