Icebreaker: What is your favorite animal?

#1. Why does fear lead you down the wrong path?
#2. “God is not afraid of your fear”. Why do we take time to tell God what we are afraid of? How does it help our relationship with Him to talk about these things? (Phillipians 4:6) (Psalms 66:19) (1John 4:18)

#3. Why is it so important that you have a strong faith filled community that you belong to? (Proverbs 27:17), (Hebrews 10:25)

Challenge for the Week:

-Determine the areas that you are most worried about. (Ie. finances, health of you and your family, etc.)
-Spend five minutes each day telling God how you know, even if you are worried, He is going to provide for you/ protect you.
-Declare bible verses that correlate with the areas you are worried about and declare them over you and your family. (ie Psalms 91 for protection, Matthew 6:25-34 for provision and anxiety, etc.) Wave them like a banner before the Lord and put your “worship” before your worries. (2 Corinthians 20:21) --If it helps you, write them down and give them to the Lord in you quiet time with him. From that point on every time you feel worry or fear creeping in, remind yourself that you have given it to the Lord. He tell us to cast his cares upon Him for he cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7)
