How Can I Tell if My Relationship is Codependent?

I recently listened to one of your podcast episodes on the relationship dynamic between Will and Grace.

I’ve been obsessed with the show and I’ve binge watched both the original and the revival series— especially since I used to be best friends with a gay man.

Considering the lack of boundaries between Will and Grace, I think they grew codependent—Which happened to me and my friend, too.

Do you think Will and Grace were codependent, and if so, to what extent?

And also, what are the ways to avoid codependency with friendships?
