The Holy Spirit is the PROMISE of the Father. Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is our greatest gift from God. God desired to give us His Spirit to empower us in our lives.

There are 3 types of people:
1. Natural man - not saved, no Holy Spirit.
2. Carnal man - saved, has the Holy Spirit lives in flesh.
3. Spiritual man - saved, has the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit has him.

1. Holy Spirit is a PROMISE from the Father (Acts Chapter 1 Verse 4)

2. Holy Spirit is a PETITION of Jesus (John Chapter 14 Verse 6)

3. Holy Spirit is a PURPOSE of salvation (Acts 2 Verse 38)

Indwelling vs Infilling
1. The indwelling occurs one time, infilling is a repeated experience.
2. The indwelling follows salvation, infilling follows surrender.
3. The indwelling is about possession, infilling is about power.
