I Need More Attention From Him

Question: I’ve started dating a man and we’re taking things very slowly—which is great, but challenging because we have to be creative in how we date because of children and work schedules. I’ve noticed he doesn’t give me the attention I want and it causes me to not trust his interest in me—almost like I need attention to validate that he is interested despite his actions telling me he is. How can I work on overcoming this? I don’t want codependence to rule me.
