If He’s Not Opening Up Emotionally, Is He Avoidant?

“Zoe” asks, “I’ve been on two dates with a guy. We have a lot of chemistry and I do really enjoy his company. He seems like a good person but something is off. He told me he’s divorced (which isn’t a problem), but he’s not opened up to me about his story. I feel he’s an ‘avoidant’ and doesn’t want emotional intimacy straight away. Plus, he comes on too strong sexually. On our second date, I mentioned he hasn’t opened up to me and he said he wasn’t ready to talk about it. Do I continue dating him or see these signs as red flags that he’s not right for me?”
