100' Tall Concrete Silo Relocated

Wolfe House Movers relocated this 480,000 lb concrete silo for Kreider Farms in Lancaster County, PA. Special brackets were bolted to the sides of the silo to secure it to the Buckingham Power Dolly System for the move. The self-propelled dolly system was able to drive the silo very slowly and the hydraulics continually adjusted to keep the silo level and plumb. The on-site move went off without incident and the silo was set at the new spot and turned into an observation tower for visitors to the view the farm from a birds-eye perspective.
