I get a lot of questions asking why peple can't fall BACK to sleep after waking up in the morning. This is mainly with people trying to use the WILD technique, the WBTB technique or the FILD technique. People will say that they set their alarm early, wake up but can't fall back to sleep again after they've woken up.

In order to lucid dream you'll need to be able to wake up in the early morning during or before your REM sleep and then go back to sleep to perform the technique. I explain how in this video.
