Domestic sheep

A sheep is a domestic mammal animal. Sheep feed on grass. People get wool from sheep. The sheep were domesticated by man in ancient times, more than 8 thousand years ago. In ancient times the sheep as a symbol was used in many religions of the Near and Middle East and the Mediterranean. Sheep are easily distinguished by their spirally-branched horns and curly wool.
